Corrections and reporting an error

The archive is only as good as its sources. If you find something wrong, we want to fix it.

What to report

Please tell us about anything that looks wrong, including:

  • a factual error in an entry — a wrong date, office, or description of the action;
  • a source that does not support the claim, or a source link that points somewhere other than its label;
  • an entry whose status has changed — for example, an action later reversed, or a ruling later overturned.

How to report it

Email contact@trumpactionarchive.com with:

  • the entry ID, shown at the foot of each event (for example, wk07_IG_014);
  • what you believe is wrong; and
  • a link to a source that supports the correction, where you have one.

What happens next

Every report is checked against the same sourcing standard the archive is built on. Where a correction is warranted, we amend or annotate the entry; where an entry can no longer be supported to standard, it is moved below the public line. Consistent with our retain-don’t-discard principle, nothing is silently deleted — records are kept with their status attached, so a correction is auditable rather than erased.
